Semblanza
Juan Ramón Jiménez se graduó en 1988 como Ingeniero Biomédico y en 2006 obtuvo el Doctorado en Ciencias por la UAM-Iztapalapa. Su actividad docente la desarrolla en las licenciaturas en Ingeniería Biomédica, Computación e Ingeniería Electrónica, así como con el posgrado en Ingeniería Biomédica.
Ha realizado investigación y desarrollo en técnicas automáticas de segmentación de estructuras cerebrales en imágenes por Resonancia Magnética, modelado de sistemas informáticos, instrumentos basados en microprocesadores y de espectroscopia NIR.
